Pakistan Developer Network (PKDN) is an independent, non-profit organisation established for Pakistani software developers to foster the creation of a nationwide software development community. Our mission is to build a community of software developers which leverages the expertise of the members for the betterment of the software industry in Pakistan.
PKDN strives to make accessibility to learning resources easier for both students and professionals, with an emphasis on the students in all of many deprived regions of the country. PKDN also aims to build a bridge between software development service providers and buyers.
Pakistan Developer Network was founded in November 2003 by a small team of programmers in Islamabad. The need of PKDN was conceived by Rana Ihtesham Ali out of discontentment caused by the lack of such a platform to address several problems and cope with what lies on the way of the Pakistanis in hurdle position.
We at PKDN maintain the official bulletin board as our online community centre where the PKDN members share information, collaborate on projects, and much more. Everyone is welcome to join us at PKDN.
We also maintain the IRC channel PKDN at irc.freenode.net server.
